Jobs @ Satelliet - Browns   Alton Office   We are not currently recruiting for the Alton office     Glasgow Office   FINANCE MANAGER, GLASGOW, Salary dependent on experience   Highly successful group of two UK Companies, based in Glasgow and near London, is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to add value to the Management Team.  This position is Glasgow based, with some travelling required to London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective streamlining, management and monitoring of financial controls and procedures for each company, as well as the management and continuing development of finance staff.   Key duties will include: ·         All month end processes, including the accurate reconciliation of all balance sheet figures ·         Accurate preparation of monthly management accounts including detailed variance analysis ·         Working capital and stock management ·         VAT returns ·         Payroll for 40 employees ·         Balance Sheet and Inter-company Reconciliations ·         Reviewing existing processes and procedures in place for each area of finance within each of the two companies.  This is with a view to developing, enhancing and streamlining the existing systems to improve efficiencies and control ·         Providing assurance to Management as to the accuracy of the job costing process, where necessary making recommendations for improvements in practice. ·         Participating in board meetings with senior management regarding all finance matters ·         Cash flow forecasting ·         Involvement in Annual Budget preparation, specifically highlighting areas where cost savings and efficiencies can be made ·         Supporting the preparation of Annual Statutory Accounts, and liaising with external accountants as required ·         Management and development of a Team of ­­­4 staff.   The ideal candidate will be a Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or be qualified by experience and come from a strong financial accounting background.  You will have excellent time management and communication skills.  You will possess the strength of character to deal with staff at all levels and within all departments of the group.  You will be IT literate and experience of working with Sage is essential.  Inter company exposure would also be beneficial.
